Winter Exhibition 2019

David’s winter exhibition, Outside Work, brought together more than 50 pieces of  his work, completed in 2019. Those familiar with David’s subject matter found the landscapes, colours and skies of the Pennines and Eden Valley, as well as seascapes of Maryport harbour reflected among the selection of paintings on show. However, new to that  year’s exhibition were 15 paintings of the mountains and waters of the Lake District, which featured a strikingly different and much stronger colour palette. David attributed this development to the many journeys he’d made that summer through the majestic scenery between Penrith and Coniston.

In addition to a wide range of David’s landscape paintings, the exhibition featured 30 small, intimate watercolours and new greetings cards.

Watercolours are mostly 300mm x 400mm plus soft white mount and 20mm flat oak waxed frame. Glass is UltraVue® UV70 Glass. This water white glass offers crystal clear color transmission and a virtually invisible, anti-reflective surface for truly amazing clarity. UltraVue® UV70 Glass. Plein air acrylics are often on thick paper or board and some are roughly 550mm x 750mm, but they do vary in size a lot. If you would like more information please contact vicki@edengraphics.co.uk
